Okay, I never had any professional driving lessons before, and I haven't driven a vehicle for over 10 years. Today is my first with Alpha and Omega Driving School and I must admit, it was an informative one. My instructor Mr. Laine, made me feel comfortable getting behind the wheel and showing me the ropes, what all the gears were, where to rest my feet, how to pivot my feet, where my hands ought to be on the steering wheel, as well how to adjust mirrors. He is teaching me how to not stop abruptly so that its not a rough stop but also not a delayed stop.
