My hot water tank failed this past Tuesday evening while I have a summer tenant. I called my regular plumber Wednesday morning first thing and they would be unable to come until Friday at the earliest, which was certainly not going to work for my tenant. Montauk Plumbing & Heating was recommended to me by my plumber and I called at 9:15 Wednesday am. The office was very responsive, treated this as an emergency and was at my house within the hour. I was hoping it was going to be a heating element that needed to be replaced but that was not the case. We contacted Montauk Plumbing with a problem of a persistent clog. They were able to send someone out quickly and maintained a great communication on ETA. The problem was solved promptly and professionally. We highly recommend them.
