Mr. Cassidy and the staff were very professional, compassionate, and considerate throughout all the details of my mother's service. It was a rather quick turnaround since her passing and the services. yet, Mr. Cassidy remembered details and reminded the staff about our family's wishes. Additionally, my father was apprehensive in seeing his beloved wife in an open casket. Yet, I encouraged him to do so as my Mom looked absolutely beautiful in natural makeup. My dad did say his final goodbye in viewing her open casket, and was overwhelmed with how pretty my mom was resting in peace. I am a tenant of the building next door. This morning I was leaving to support a medical procedure. Due to the proximity of the funeral home I had gotten caught in the line of cars. I was greeted by an older gentleman with a limp who asked me why I was in such a rush. I said I am in the way to surgery. He said “I bet” then followed up with “don’t kill anyone”.
After leaving his next statement was “I have a freezer downstairs for you”
Not only not acceptable. Border line threatening. Hoping this message reaches management.

Last month, my family and I had the unfortunate task of arranging a funeral. During such a challenging and emotional time, Cassidy Funeral Home provided us with the utmost care and compassion.From the moment I contacted Mr. Cassidy, I knew our family was in good hands. He was compassionate, honest, and incredibly responsive. He went above and beyond to help my family during a terribly difficult time.Every staff member we encountered was empathetic, patient, and incredibly helpful. We owe a very special thanks to Robert, who was exceptionally attentive to our needs and preferences. Robert went above and beyond to help our family. He is a good person to his core and exactly the type of person you hope to encounter when you're mourning.Mr. Cassidy and Robert guided us through every step of the process with kindness and professionalism. Considering the high level of service and the quality of the arrangements, the prices were very fair and reasonable. There were no unexpected costs, and everything was clearly explained upfront. Unfortunately, most funeral homes are corporate-run today, so you won't find this type of service elsewhere. Before contacting Cassidy, we spoke with three other facilities. They were cold and attempted to charge us more than what was required.In a time of grief and stress, Cassidy Funeral Home provided a sense of ease and peace. They handled everything with dignity and respect, allowing us to focus on celebrating the life of our loved one. I am sincerely grateful for their support and highly recommend their services to others facing the loss of a loved one.

My husband's family has used Cassidy funeral services several times through the years, but it was only in the last few years that I have had the misfortune of having to make arrangements for people in my family. Bill and his employees were compassionate, sensitive, and very responsive. They came to our aid late at night and treated us and our beloved departed ones delicately and with respect. They took care of the details and provided support throughout a most difficult process.Bill recently helped me with a personal matter four years after the fact. I left a message for him with his answering service and explained why I was calling. It was clear from my message that I did not have a funeral to arrange, I only wanted some information, and he called me back immediately. He looked up our records and had the answer to what I was calling about within seconds. Without me asking, he offered to submit some paperwork to the state for me. Within a few days, I got the result I was seeking. Without his help, it would have taken months. I'm very grateful to Bill for assisting me, particularly when it was clear that he had nothing to gain by doing so except my sincere appreciation.

Bill and Sue are the best. My sister and I had lost both of our parents and was dealing with this funeral parlor in Queens who were beyond horrible. I decided to call Cassidy Funeral Home to see if I could transfer my parents to their establishment. This was the best decision I made. They were compassionate, polite, and very professional. I explained to Sue my issues and pleased with the results. My sister met with Bill the following day and Bill was able to pick up my parents bodies and too good care of them. They deserve 10 Stars. Words cannot express our sincere gratitude to Cassidy Funeral Home. After a horrific 9-day experience with another funeral parlor that literally held my deceased parents and death certificates hostage, prayer led me to Cassidy Funeral Home. I prayed for God to lead me to the place that will treat my family with dignity and respect in taking care of my parents. I searched the website for funeral homes in the area and my intuition told me to contact Cassidy. My sister initially spoke with Ms. Sue and then I met with Bill in person. Well, my intuition was correct. From the moment I walked in, I knew we were in the right place. Bill listened to our needs and took care of our parents cremation and death certificates all within 2 days! Unbelievable! Truly amazing service! Bill saved the day and I must say, he is a selfless, humane and kind gentleman with impeccable listening skills. The care, support, attentiveness and kindness extended to us was unmatched. No one is ever prepared for the death of their parents at the same time. It's truly painful. However, Cassidy Funeral Home helped us through this process.
