I will like to say the doctor is an awesome dentist! Unfortunately that front desk receptionist Gloria has to retire! She is very nasty and rude. Myself family of 7 have been coming here for the past 5 years or so she never makes it easy never a smile on her face as shes speaking she wont even look at you. Ive even seen her in my face as the doctor is speaking to her and because a certain diagnostic test is not on the paper she is rolling her eyes and shaking her head as if it bothers her that he made a mistake. My husband and son have the exact same name but Gloria is incompetent. She called my son to confirm his appointment when he gets there she tells him i spoke to your dad the appointment was for him. My son tells her no i cancelled my appointment last week and rescheduled she kept telling him no and says who's number is this i called your fathers right? He tells her no that is my number and this is the voicemail you left me she realized she was in the wrong and plays it off and continues to say the appointment was not for him. He then says its an open slot the appointment was for me after he proved it to her and she seen the phone number she called to confirm was my sons but she didn't want to look foolish she continue to say its not for him and he was not able to be seen. Not only did she fail as a healthcare receptionist she doesn't know how to confirm a patients Date of birth to make sure it is the correct person that says a lot. She is always overwhelmed and with a cara de perra. She does not go out her way to help people then she is in the wrong field. And i know her very well she was a patient at the medical provider office i worked at for years she has always been an unhappy person with an attitude and it shows. Even when her coworkers are talking to her she shows in her face she is annoyed. Everyone else here is great but Gloria has to retire and i will no longer visit this place and i will file a complaint with my insurance company. Put it this way the entire Long Island Railroad employers are sick of this lady! And its not like we go here for just fillings we have spend alot of money in this place to get actual work done and she treats people like we are the scum between her toes.

All 3 of my stars are for the dentists who are genuinely very nice and helpful. If it wasn’t for the dentists being so good, I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. The front desk/person on the phone is incredibly rude, making snarky comments and needs to be trained in how to treat people. I asked if i could cancel my appointment because I had a necessary medical procedure interfere with my dentist appointment and in response the girl at the front desk told me “I don’t know, can you?” This isn’t just an isolated event, I have an extremely hostile experience with the front desk/phone person multiple times. Looking for a new dentist just because of how god awful the staff treat me

Great dentist and office staff. From the time I made the appointment and walked into my the office, it was a pleasant experience. Dr. Dourmas was friendly and professional with great bedside manner. The hygienist Edgar was also great, and made the dental cleaning a breeze along with X-rays. As for a finishing touch, they also gave me a dental goody bag. Five star experience. I highly recommend.

They are wonderful from the front desk Assistants to “Dr Dormas “and dentist assistants! I’m coming from Brooklyn to Queens…They are very busy so you need to be patient! Dr D. made sure I was very comfortable. The periodontal is good too. They both explained everything to detail, I recommend MidQueens Dental and Associate. Thank you so much ☺️! SotoSaida 🦷😬

Dr. Dourmas and staff have been in my life for many years. He is the best dentist I’ve ever had. (I’m 67) so need I say more. He and staff are kind and courteous. Big man but very gentle, will always make sure you’re comfortable and the procedure is painless. I travel to nyc from Charlotte NC.to keep the best dentist I’ve ever had. Office is always clean. I would rate him 100% Great. You go once and you will keep coming back. All staff are kind and professional from day one. The love it there.
