Merrick Hot Yoga is an amazing studio with some of the best instructors on Long Island and in general. So, 5 stars on that alone. However, that aside there has been a major uptick in cell phones and smart watches going off during classes. Cell phones have 0 place in the actual room of practice. Smart watches I understand but they must be silenced. There is little to no enforcement and it’s getting worse and worse. There’s also a lot of attendees lately that are not respecting or considering others. Loud conversations take place before class in the rooms and some go completely rogue during class and do their own thing while ignoring instruction.... read full review

I’ve only done 2 different types of the classes they offer and both were fantastic. The place is super clean the instructors are great. I enjoy the working out in heat it’s a total different mind experience. I like coming a few times a month, you’re not forced to have a membership which is perfect - if you think you’re fit, it’s a humbling experience! check your ego at the door !

Loved it. Tried through class pass for the first time at this location and I would definitely come back! Loved Janet and the booty/core class. Really nice front desk personnel. Definitely not kidding very HOT!
