Quail Run Kennel has a reputation for providing excellent care for dogs. The staff are described as pleasant, friendly, and understanding, especially with dogs that have challenging personalities. The kennel is praised for its training methods, with some clients reporting that their dogs became therapy dogs as a result. The owners and all staff are always pleasant, helpful, and caring. The kennel's dog trainer, Don, is amazing and truly understands the dogs and their behavior, accomplishing a lot in a short amount of time.
Quail Run Kennel has been extended family for roughly 25 years. They have provided wonderful accommodations and provided excellent care for our 8 dogs over the years. It will be near impossible to find people that genuinely care and love your pets as much as they do. It amazes me that time after time, how as soon as I turn onto Medford Avenue the dogs realize where they are headed and get so excited. One of our Malamutes actually jumped out of the window of the car immediately after we parked. They are truly great people running an awesome business providing for our pets. We have used Quail Run several times to board our dog(s) over the years. We have always been happy with the care our dogs have received. One of our dogs wouldn't eat and the staff actually boiled chicken for her until she acclimated (she was 11 and had never been boarded). The next time she stayed with Quail Run, she walked in like she owned the place and was happy to be there. I have recommended Quail Run to many of my friends.
I have boarded my dogs here multiple times and always a good experience. Both dogs can be difficult at times, but they understand their needs and are accommodating. Owners and all staff are always pleasant, helpful, and caring. Easy drop off and pick up. Dogs are always tired and “happy” when I pick them up. Thank you, Quail Run!
