Sugar Maples is a really special place! I’ve taken two weekly 2D (drawing) courses there in the last 6 months, for a total of 18 weeks of instruction, and it has been transformative. I’ve always loved doodling but lacked the confidence and some basic technical skills. Kulvinder nurtured me over the course of the last 6 months and it has been transformative. She helped me build up my skills, personal style, and most importantly, the confidence to want to continue on my artistic journey. The classes were a good mix of structure and personal exploration, which was perfect for me. Plus, the property is absolutely stunning - such an inspiring place to work, surrounded by the beautiful mountains. I’ll continue to take courses here, and have already signed up for a summer workshop!
