I have had the privilege of being a patient at NYC health + hospitals Gotham Health Clemente, and I can confidently say that my experience have been overall positive. Over the years, l've seen the hospital grow and improve, offering not only the necessary medical care but also a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. I have been a patient at Roberto Clemente Health Clinic for at 10 years. My Doctor's, Nurse's and Staff have always treated me with Compassion and Respect. In fact, Nurse Laura is responsible for me starting my colonoscopy after health staff have tried for many years and failed. Every Thanksgiving Season, the Staff cooks and serves their clients, community delicious dinner to eat there or take home. I am very grateful for Roberto Clemente Health Clinic 🙏🏿

I have been a patient of Roberto Clemente for more than two years, I don't remember very well, maybe more, the only thing I know is that I don't regret getting there, the front staff and the doctors and therapists are very kind, I feel very happy to take care of me. . May they continue for many more years ?

Lisa Ginsburg is completely unprofessional a complete narcissist who bullies children and gives African American and Latino children less food portions than Caucasian children telling them “your ancestors have survived for centuries on less”. She’s unprofessional constantly gossiping about the population she’s supposed to helping and serving. She told an adolescent girl that “you’re not mentally functioning but pretty so you’ll make a good a career on Only fans”.

About 6 months ago I called RCFGC for an intake appointment for their psychiatry services. They said they were fully booked but would put me on the wait list. Eight weeks later they called me and set up an intake appointment. I waited an additional 2 weeks for that. I went through the intake appointment and was told I'd be given a call shortly to set up an appointment. Two weeks go by and I hear nothing so I call. No return call. A week later, I call again. A week after that, I received a voice mail saying they were sorry but they couldn't offer me treatment as they didn't think they could help me. Errrr, a mildly depressed person with anxiety really isn't that difficult. So I waited 11 weeks for them to drop me with no warning or a good reason, or any indication that they weren't going to get me an appointment. So yeah, that's pretty sh*tty given how hard mental health services are to get here in NYC.

Unprofessional the psychiatrist is very arrogant and rude and has no compassion for patients he only cares about money when I stressed my concerns to this man he told me to find another doctor the therapist here have no experience for my mental disorders is what the director of the program told me and none of their therapists are experienced so I asked for referrals a total waste of my time this place needs to close down too many bad reviews I can see why

Very friendly staff, always understanding in case of last-minute schedule changes. I have visited this place for general health concerns and for mental health counseling/support. Everyone is very accommodating, highly professional, and skilled with dealing with health issues pertaining uniquely to multi-racial/multi-ethnic patients like myself. Highly recommend!

As an English speaker of Hispanic descent, I find this place to be the most culturally understanding medical center I've ever been to, whether you speak English, Spanish or both. The primary care doctors over the years have always listened to my needs, never made me feel rushed or ashamed to ask questions. I feel like I'm working WITH THEM on my care as a team.On the mental health side, while I have to caution that a number of staffers are short term (if you have long term, deep issues, that might not be the best), most were very helpful and my current full time therapist there is a vital support for me.I had a contrasting experience to another reviewer regarding Dr. Villaro- he's one of the good ones out there! I've seldom had a good experience with psychiatrists in the past - tending to be cold, quiet, and just wanting to toss pills at you. Dr. Villaro helped with a proper diagnosis, explained it, and respected my wishes for care without medication.So overall, while all are welcome, I recommend this place for my fellow Newyoricans and other Latinx's. Covered by most insurances, and they'll even find a way to help if you have no insurance.
