The feeling you get by having professionals like Dr. Robert Henrickson in your corner, with all of his incredible experience, empathy and communication style… and knowing that he is a call or text away is everything. If you’re looking for an amazing vet who is caring and understanding and extremely knowledgeable, look no further. I cannot recommend Manhasset animal Hospital enough — our little 13 pound Tibetan spaniel Bax has had one or two issues unfortunately, and Dr. Henrickson has been our rock.

Dr Robert henrickson was incredibly kind and helpful when my bunny became sick late at night. Even over the phone, he took the time to answer my questions, provide clear guidance, and offer reassurance during a very stressful situation. I know Dr Hendrickson is both a graduate of Cornell and probably the only vet that has attended Cornell for its entire prestigious vet school for miles on the island. Yet a degree can not measure empathy and it made me cry when Dr Henrickson occasion would call me after my dog passed and see how I was holding up and this occurred for months. Dr I really appreciate your empathy it is priceless

Dr. Hendrickson was amazing. He took the time to listen patiently to my many concerns about my elderly pup and addressed every one of them compassionately and quickly while making sure my dog stayed comfortable throughout the visit.
The entire team at Manhasset Animal Hospital is wonderful. From the very first phone call to every time I’ve called since, the staff has been friendly, responsive, and genuinely caring. It’s clear they truly care about both the pets and their owners. I’m very grateful for the compassion and attention they showed us.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Hendrickson and the entire team to anyone looking for truly compassionate and attentive veterinary care.

I think Manhasset Animal Hospital knows its clientele: very wealthy people willing to pay a fortune for services for their beloved pets without asking many questions. But I just don’t feel they inform patients’ owners about what is going on, what other options are available besides the exorbitant treatment they are offering, and follow-up is nonexistent. I have been going here for years but will try somewhere else, hoping for better communication and less price-gouging.

My pets have been patients of Manhasset Animal Hospital for years. The staff is amazing and treats the animals like their own. Doc is readily available for after hours emergencies. I cannot recommend them enough!

Just picked my Border Collie (Dodger) up from here after a 2 week boarding stint for Dodger as we’ve been on vacation with the kids in Florida. Dan is brilliant - he just absolutely loves what he does, and that is reflected in how he looks after and cares for these pets / animals. He has a passion for them, and a real energy for the wellbeing of these little creatures that need that kind of love and attention. Had a great conversation with Dan, and I couldn’t be happier, knowing that someone like him oversees and looks after my Dog whilst I am away.
Dodger looks excellent, and he’s happy. Just love that.

Dr. Henrickson and his staff are amazing. They are extremely compassionate, attentive and go above and beyond to meet my animals needs. I have used Dr. Henrickson for all of my animals (cats, dogs,turtle) for more than 30 years. His wisdom, experience and knowledge cannot be matched. I found his fees to be extremely reasonable. He takes the time to listen, expertly examine my animal and accurately diagnose any issue. He provides precise treatment and medication. Manhasset is fortunate to have him and I wouldn't think of taking my animals to Anyone else.

The staff at Manhasset animal hospital is extremely professional and hospitable. Very friendly. Dr. Henrickson is extremely knowledgeable and conscientious about treating every single animal as if it were his own. I would not go to any other veterinarian. He graduated from Cornell veterinary school, which is one of the finest in the country. You will not regret going to him to take care of your loving pet. I recommend him without reservation.
