I’ve been to several dermatologists over the years, but Dr. Brian How is truly in a league of his own. From the very first appointment, I felt genuinely heard — not rushed through like a number on a checklist.
What sets Dr. Brian How apart is his incredibly thoughtful approach to treatment. Rather than jumping straight to the most aggressive option, he took the time to explain every possible route, the expected results, and — most importantly — the potential side effects of each. I came here last month with the intention of doing laser hair removal for uneven eyebrow microblading I had previously done at another facility. I saw the PA Carmine Vecchio. He was wonderful - knowledgeable, patient, and he took his time with me. He advised me to try a little botox for the uneven brow first but said ultimately the decision was up to me. I followed his advice and after two weeks it worked! It wound up costing me less, and I feel so much better!! Thank you. I will be returning for any dermatological need in the future.
Dr. Huang was the only dermatologist I found on Long Island familiar with my cutaneous lymphoma diagnosis/ treatment & has previous experience working alongside my oncologist at MSK. Her knowledge and expertise, makes me feel safe & healthy knowing I’m in good hands. Especially after I was horribly misdiagnosed at a different practice for many years. Dr.Huang & her team are the best!
