I asked for layers cut into my hair with a max of 1 inch off. She told me she’d have to take 2 inches off. I said fine. She took 5-6 inches off. My hair was past my shoulders, it’s not even hitting my neck now. But don’t worry, the hair on TOP of my head is still 5-6 inches long. I have disproportionate curls sticking out at the back, a mop on top of my head. I look like an idiot and I start a new job tomorrow. I’ve never actually been angry with a haircut. It took me a year to grow my hair to the length I wanted and in 20 minutes it was ruined. If you need a whiteboy Supercuts type haircut, you will be fine. If your hair requires anything beyond that I would go elsewhere. I will be going back to my place in Brooklyn an hour and a half away after a few failed places.

The Fine Men Salon staff are very friendly, patient and very courteous. I took my son Blake for a haircut. My son Blake has autism. The stylist Diego is so patient, kindhearted and supportive with my son. It was such a great experience. I highly recommend going to The Fine Men Salon because of their incredible staff.

My favorite barbershop in Westchester. Everyone is great but I go to Nelly. Pay the extra $5 for the gentleman’s cut. It’s worth it.
