Great experience with this place. I am not a contractor. I'm just a guy who is fixing my brownstone myself. I needed a steel lintel plate to fix a brick doorway that was caving in. Home Depot just wasn't working because they didn't have steel thick enough and, even at a lower thickness, I was still going to end up paying $300 for steel. Called up this place, gave them my exact dimensions and thicknesses and they delivered for free two days later. It was only $85 for a four by one plate too. Incredible. If I ever need Steele in the future, I'm definitely going to be calling this place.

The crew over at Rapid Steel makes buying tubing, and steel of all shapes and sizes easy. From day 1 working with them, Kris and Steve have always done what they said, and they do it... rapidly! I've ordered from them about 20 times now and not only do they have competitive pricing, but they're great communicators, have always been on time for delivery and they're pleasant to deal with. Great customer service makes it painless every time. Their extra services are a bonus too. Cutting, shearing and even welding and hole punching! Thank you to everyone at Rapid Steel, you're a purchaser's dream!Keep it real, go to Rapid Steel.

All types of steel, tube, plate, bar, angle. They can shear plate for you and offer delivery. Been buying from them for years. Nice guys in the office are happy to accommodate small or complex orders. Speed of quotes and delivery is unparalleled. If you are picking up in person the shop closes at 3pm.
