I highly recommend "Surf Glass" in Long Beach, NY in an apartment, house, bungalow, office or store. Paul was on-time and a pleasure to have in my apartment. He was neat and had a great sense of humor which is always a good sign. I had a window broken during a renovation project after some water damage. In Nov '21 the contractor told me they ordered a balance that was back ordered and tied up in the supply chain. I've been asking consistently about this. Finally, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I went to several window companies, big box stores and glass companies. Everyone gave me a story from - I have to replace the entire window to it can't be fixed. Finally, stopped in Centre Millwork who explained they don't work on the windows I have but said to try Surf Glass since if anyone could fix it they could. I walked down the street.
