I've lived locally for over 25 years and literally passed this barbershop thousands of times without visiting. I've recently heard that it's under new ownership but that the original owner Mr. Hunt is still there cutting hair. I figured that it would be an honor to have my haircut by Mr. Hunt. I walked in late afternoon (Wednesday 4/14/21) and met the new owner Brain who had a customer in his chair and yet greeted me warmly like I was a long-time customer. I asked him if that was Mr. Hunt who was seated in the next chair and he told me "yes." Mr. Hunt told me to sit in the chair and asked me how I wanted it cut. A good old friendly Barber who is a master of his craft and great talking to. Always a great hair cut for myself and my kids.Enjoy listening to his stories of his 50 plus years of being in the same location.It is always clean and current reading material. Hunts keeps his Gibson Guitar in the back and if you ask he'll take it out and jam after the cutting is done.One of the last true barber shops in this area.
