He has placed numerous times at the Big Four Grand Slam tournaments as a black belt, earning major wins over world‑class opponents. Weiss keeps up with the latest developments in Jiu Jitsu and sports science, and his training methodology is ahead of its time. This is evident in how many great competitors he has produced at Sucker Free across all levels. More importantly, beyond teaching excellent Jiu JItsu, Weiss is truly beloved by his students.

Had an amazing experience training at the gym! Everyone was so helpful and kind. From the coaches to the members that train there. The instruction is world class as well. I absolutely recommend training here if you’re in the area. The training environment is absolutely excellent as well as the instruction the in the gym!

Sucker Free Jiujitsu is BEST jiujitsu academy in Long Island. Weiss is an incredible instructor that teaches real Jiujitsu that works. Just watch him compete and you'll see the takedown he taught on a random Tuesday night being used at the highest level of jiujitsu out there.
But above all else, Sucker Free is a safe space that is bound to make you feel included and cared for while training, regardless of if you're a world class competitor looking to learn from one of the best or just a hobbiest who wants an academy with consistently good training partners.
