It depends on who you get - you can't go wrong with the owner Pete but you'll need an appointment or plan to wait. He's quick but does an amazing job. Most of the staff is great but I do find turnover is pretty high so if you liked someone, there's a good chance they went somewhere else 6 months down the line. Some of the barbers were either really slow or just mediocre five to ten years ago but seems the latest batch is much better. Prices have gone up quite a bit over the past four years relative to other places but still in market range. It's a little more jarring here because prices had previously been on the lower end. I went here today for my first time. I had Casey cut my hair and she did an amazing job. It was nice to find a local place which is convenient because I live close-by. Thank you again!

I took my son for a haircut twice now and both times were exceptional. My son has Spectrum Disorder and haircuts have been an issue since he was very small; he is now 11. He is uncomfortable with the sounds and the sensory stimulus that accompany a haircut, mostly the buzzer! The first time the young lady who took care of him was able to use the buzzer, something never accomplished before by any other barber in over 9 years. On our second visit, Casey took care of my son and gave him the best haircut he's ever gotten, although his first at 5 West was wonderful too!
