It’s hard to describe this studio in words. They have brought back the magic of dance to me once again. I danced in my 30’s and 40’s and life got in the way as it does for most of us and I stopped. I always missed it. So last year I stopped into this studio and signed up for a free lesson. Well, from the first lesson to today I have found that this studio is not just a dance studio, but a dance family. There is expertise, professionalism, talent. But most of all there is friendship. From the time you walk in the door everyone is there to greet and say hello, high fives and go get em!! This girl is soon to be 66. I have two prosthetic hips, arthritis everywhere including my feet and I am not a little gal. But when I am gliding across that floor with my very patient and understanding instructor, I am young again and I can dance!! The dedication these instructors have for their students is second to none. A shout out to Roman who has spent many hours with me helping me grow in this studio and learn more than I ever thought I could. Also to Hanna who has taken on my husband as her student and showing him just how good he can be. Please if you are just thinking of it a little tiny bit. DO IT. It will be the best thing you can do for yourself. Don’t hesitate, just stop in or call and try it. They do NOT pressure you. Thank you to Albany Fred Astaire!!! I was introduced to this fabulous studio a little more than 10 years ago at a dance party. My first compliments lesson was with Serge Nelyubov, an amazing teacher. I have been a performer throughout my life as a singer and actress. But. I always wanted to be a dancer. Serge started me on a journey that brought me joy and the realization of this dream. Through the years Boris and Sasha have brought in other teachers, who are all amazingly talented, each adding their own personalities, incites, specialties. Always with kindness, encouragement, and passion for dance. They have all become my friends and "family" and made me feel beautiful, ageless and special. Thank you all. I consider myself very lucky to be part of this studio.
I can't say enough about this studio, The teachers' expertise and talent are amazing. From the moment you enter the studio, you are welcomed by a warm and friendly staff. Their patience has no limit and you will be surprised by what they can teach you to do. You will fall in love with dance like never before.
