As is so often the case, someone we loved passed on and we were faced with the question of, "now what"? Thankfully, Kenny and his wife Melissa were there at that moment. I called the funeral home from out of state to try and help the family. In a moment I was transferred to Melissa. Upon hearing what had just happened she told me to sit tight, and I'd be getting a call back. 5 minutes later Ken called me from a doctor's office where he was being treated FOR HAVING THE FLU! He called me while battling the flu! That was amazing! He proceeded to reassure me he and his wife would take great care of everything and the family would be handled with respect and dignity. I imagine I could stop here, but the exceptional professionalism only continued from there. When I flew up for the services I got there to see that they had done a phenomenal job on the appearance of my best friend's body. And, that while their staff was always there, and kept up with everything, they were virtually invisible. Never did anyone want for, or need anything yet the staff somehow blended into the background the whole time. I truly cannot ever thank you enough Ken and Melissa. You made a time filled with heartache, much easier. - Joe Barbagallo
