The service and professionalism at Lake Placid Audiology has been fantastic. The hearing aids recommended and the support provided could not have been better.
This was the best investment in my quality of life. I have been having problems with my hearing that progressed over years. Finally, when I was missing a lot in group settings and filling in the blanks in conversations I decided to make a change . To make matters worse my husbands hearing was similarly impaired . So we decided this Christmas to give the gift of hearing to each other . My concern was that I did not notice much improvement in my contemporaries that have hearing aids. We went to Dr. Karen at Placid Audiology and she couldn’t have been more professional and tuned in to our needs. After testing , both of us were noted to have significant hearing loss. Options were presented and we chose what would work best for us. We were even given demos. ...so we were confident that our hearing aids would work for us. The best review I could give is after a day in social situations , meetings etc. you realize you didn’t struggle to hear. Thank you Dr. Karen and Placid Audiology .
