We are part time residents of Lake Placid and have been receiving excellent veterinary services from Lake Placid Animal Hospital for our dogs for 13+ years. This very well run veterinary clinic is staffed by friendly and efficient vet techs, staff, and office manager. They are always responsive to our calls and our need for veterinary care. LPAH staff and Dr. Welsh are the best. By far the best veterinary experience we've had in relation to other veterinary offices we've used. We appreciate the attention to detail, the kindness and compassion of all staff there. I'd recommend this practice to anyone.

This is not my normal vet. That said they are very close to my home and yesterday my dog was hit by a car. I called them to see if they would take a look at him and they got him in right away and were wonderful. All of the staff was kind right down to the note I got from the doctor. He ended up being OK, no broken bones or internal injuries. Thank goodness! I was extremely thankful for their quick response and their kind care. They definitely deserve five stars for taking care of my dog.
