“I went to Eli’s Barber shop yesterday for the first time. The driveway was available to park in— that was nice. Eli gave me a great haircut, accompanied by a nice conversation. The haircut was only $16 (cash only). I recommend checking out this spot.“

The place is very clean, and you’re warmly greeted by the co-owner, George, when you walk-in and he makes you feel very welcomed. They even offer you an espresso on the house when you come in. Booking online was quick and easy, with the option to sync the appointment to your calendar (you can download the app for easier future bookings). Payment is simple and fixable. All the prices are clearly labeled/posted and you can pay in advance with Apple Pay or in-person with cash or card.

I booked my haircut with Gerald, who was professional, friendly, kind, and very attentive (big shoutout to him!). I’m genuinely happy with the results. On my way out, the other owner, who I’m assuming is George’s wife, thanked me by name for coming, which was a really thoughtful touch. “Izzy is fantastic! She was able to add an appointment for us same day, and she was super patient with my squirmy 3 year old. I was worried about the setting since we had previously only gone to specifically kids' hair places that have toys and cartoon car seats but apparently 3 is old enough to graduate to just a booster seat in a barbershop with a tablet! Very glad, since the new KiddyKutz location in Astoria is incredibly tight with everyone on top of each other, even though they're super strict about appointments?? I met Jay and he listened to everything i said carefully and most importantly understood it. I showed him a few pics of how i wanted my hair to be. He ABSOLUTELY NAILED IT. The hairstyle came out exactly how i wanted it but wait it was even better because he made some subtle improvements all on his own. The fade was precisely how i wanted it and the scissor work on top was perfect, the top flowed very very well. after this first experience I developed instant trust with Jay. “Christina is excellent. She pays close attention and takes the necessary time at the end to double check and make sure there's not a hair out of place. When I ask for a particular length, she gets it right. She does a great beard trim too. On top of the great cuts, the whole staff is friendly and the space is big and bright, with lots of windows, and nicely designed. Right off the Graham L stop, too.“
