Came here today this Morning for the first time . Gena is very nice , her space is very comfortable getting your hair done . She did my mom box braids , she braids very quick and neat . She takes her time , we bought the wrong packs of braiding hair that isn’t great quality . She provided a better quality of braiding hair . She has my mom box braids looking nice and full . She is a satisfied customer .

I will say Gena is the best of all African Hair salon in NYC, the 1.08 minutes drive from Long Island is very worth it, very professional, lots of compliments, and the price is pockets friendly, I will definitely recommend.

Gena is the best! You won’t find anyone better in all of queens for braids. She is incredibly kind, talented, experienced and AFFORDABLE! She takes her time, has a clean and professional suite and has over 25 years of experience doing all types of braids. I have type 3C hair. Freshly chopped, and she did such an amazing job. I am so thankful.
be careful to check you have the correct address when arriving! It’s a suite, not a salon. Came all the way from Long Island (1/2 hour drive) and it was very worth it.
