I have been living in Jackson Heights for a decade and decided to try this salon as a walk-in. Isabel greeted me. I accidentally washed my hair. Luckily this meant we could begin with the haircut. My hair is long, thick wavy frizzy hair. Isabel is amazing with her craft. I can trust her and the blow was out of this world and felt like spa and I could enjoy myself. You know that haircut scene in Edward Scissorhands, it felt like that for me!She wasn’t pulling my hair and the blow was not hot. It’s day two and my hair is straight and feels healthy. For the whole experience, it was worth the $75! For your ends, she recommends to come in every 3 months.

I have used Isabel's for decades. I often get compliments on the style when I dine in Manhattan and have people ask where I go. I also see her styling for others and she has a really good sense of what works for individuals. And her prices have been great for years only about 30-35 for women. There is a barber there for men if you prefer who is also good. Relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Isabel is hands down the best hair stylist in Jackson Heights. The place is unassuming, but don't be fooled by that. The salon has the most skilled and kind stylists no matter what age or hair type. Highly recommend.
