Every time I go to Empire Visionworks I am always impressed. The staff are always friendly, competent and very helpful. Despite issues with their new AI system, they work hard at patient care. The telehealth doctor was also very good. It’s hard navigating healthcare these days, but the staff at Empire Visionworks work at putting the person first.
I am always happy with my experiences at this location. I give lots of time for my appointments as there is usually a wait and they tend to be short staffed. Overall, they are consistent and fix any issues that come up with my glasses along the way.
Dr. called out of work 2 weeks in a row & I was never notified. Then I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment which had been confirmed in multiple text reminders during the week, only to be told my appointment was at 10:40, not 11:00 as my records and the texts confirmed. They then “fit me in” after they took the other 11:00 appointment who arrived after i did!!!
Poor attitudes all around from other employees who were not even involved with me. Very disappointed.
Make sure you call to confirm the doctor actually came to work, especially if your insurance only covers in-person exams!
