“Greenough Construction is a refreshingly honest, timely, hard working, and friendly company. And their prices are fair. They responded right away when we called about an estimate to replace our shower in our finished basement. The only waiting we had to do was out of their control as we needed to wait for our shower door and flooring to come in.They did a great job of keeping in contact throughout the project. They were always upfront about what they were doing. And they never proceeded unless they had given us an itemized cost breakout and had our approval. As they went along, they offered suggestions of improvements for the bathroom while they were down there, but we never felt pressured to take those suggestions.They worked really hard to make this project turn out the way we wanted it. You can tell Rich and his team know what they're doing. And they have a real eye for detail and doing things the correct way.They were very friendly, too, all of them. There was a team of four guys doing work at our house, and they all talked to you. They weren't afraid to say hi and remembered your name. I thought that was incredible. A lot of times contactors are content to blend into the woodwork. And yet, they worked to be as non intrusive to your life as possible.They worked as if our home was theirs. They were careful not to damage the area in which they worked, and even put down protective coverings for our wood floors upstairs for when they needed to go thru the front door. But mostly they worked thru the bilco. And when they were finishing, they had their own cleaning lady come thru and clean up the area and bathroom. I'm a tough critic when it comes to detailed cleaning, and I thought she did a wonderful job!They even went out of their way to help us with things that came up with the house, and weren't part of the project, while they were here.We would recommend Greenough Construction hands down, anytime.
