This is the absolute worst lawyer I have worked with! He dragged his foot for 6 months to close when many lawyers can close in a month or less! I’d say stay far away from him and his staff my deepest advice! We sold a house and in the village and he is still withholding the commissions of the realtors weeks after the fact! I His assistant Michelle is good at confusing herself and when we went after the closing statements the day before we closed she did leave out a credit to the buyer and was clueless furthermore they are corrupt and after we closed are claiming that we agreed to over 6,300 in closing fees to buyer which we didn’t! They are committing fraud! This lawyer is not cheap for his bad services and the time he takes ! He closed on another property in 8 months and is the slowest and most corrupt person I have ever encountered! Stay far away!

The worst office ever! The secretary screwed up so many times with spelling of names and addresses. Even after she repeated everything back to you, she still screwed up! Completely incompetent and I don't recommend this attorneys office to anyone. Run while you can!

Completely disappointed in the level of competency of this group of folks. Real estate transaction with names misspelled and checks sent to incorrect addresses despite having called these people several times to correct their errors. I would never recommend these folks to anyone. You deserve better. Go somewhere else.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Not only does this attorney have just the worst attitude towards anyone he deems as less fortunate (meaning anyone who seems like they're "too poor" to retain him as counsil) but one of the ladies he has serve papers for them entered INTO my home after realizing myself, my minor autistic child and my husband weren't home ON VIDEO. We called to try to figure out this woman's name and to let the staff know their servers are just entering homes uninvited, and we're told we should've just paid our rent. (We are on DSS, this landlord gets their rent from the county) so we had to file charges against this woman for criminal entry. Beware of this attorney.

My son got a speeding ticket in Steuben County. I wanted to avoid the numerous downsides of a straight “guilty” plea. Plus, I believe he was treated unfairly by the police officer.I did thorough Internet research and found Mr. Schu — overwhelmingly positive client reviews, etc. I cold called him, he gladly took my call and immediately informed me of a solution that I was completely unaware of. It was a 10 minute call, he solved the problem. And when I tried to offer my credit card for payment he declined my offer.If anyone needs an honest, accessible and clearly experienced western NY attorney…this is the guy!
