I wanted to share this experience so others, who love their animals, would know about how wonderful the care is at Mid Island Animal Hospital. I have been taking my golden retriever puppy there since she was 12 weeks old. Recently, my 17 month old dog stopped eating and was just sleeping all day which was not like her at all. The office is great, though be careful with their clients. I just Finnish my appointment with my cat and some lady wanted me to bring me and my cat behind her dog on a scale. I didn’t feel comfortable because it’s my cat and idk how her dog react to dogs. I told her know and she started to berate me about doing a nice thing for others which I find irritating because I’m not going to put my cat in danger just to do a nice thing. Dr. Wu made sure to get Chester scheduled for a dental procedure immediately when he was having issues with his mouth. She scheduled it the next day with Dr.Acevedo. Dr.Acevedo took great care of my baby and monitored him before, during and after his procedure. She was mindful of medications and blood results to adjust accordingly so his safety was always a priority. She worked together with Dr. Wu to keep her updated on Chester. Dr. Wu called me the next day to see how Chester was doing, to go over everything they found during his procedure and see if I had any questions.
