I contacted three roofing companies that were given top ratings by the BBB and other sites. Two companies were large state-wide companies. One of these company's estimator never contacted me. “Can’t recommend DiCostanzo Home Improvements enough! Tony the owner is a honest, hard working and diligent man who pays attention to detail. He did my roof in Kings Park and we are damn glad he did, it came out amazing and was done the right way. Tony was the only roofer who explained how he needed to remove some siding and install ice shield up the outside walls and it would take some more time to get it done. Not one other roofer even mentioned they would do this, When I asked Tony he said that’s because it’s the right way and we take our time to do it right. On the last day when they were almost done (2 day job)Tony did not like the look of some flashing against my brick, it was water tight but according to Tony it was not aesthetically up to his standards. Most roofers would said screw it good enough and leave but he came back the next day and completely re-did it to make it not only look 100% but function 100%. “What would you say about a team of young men being orchestrated by a seasoned professional as the GC? OUTSTANDING!!!! Having a little personal experience, I don't usually comment on contractors workmanship but I will in this case. Joe C. and his crew said they would be starting by a certain time and they absolutley did. Everyone knew their job duties and it was like watching a well executed military precision drum/rifle gaurd parade. Let's just say if it wasn't for the many footprints in the snow by the end of the job(About 3pm) you wouldn't have known a complete roof on the house and the two car garage was just completed. AWESOME!!!!! AAAAA+++++++“

Don’t trust Hardie batten board siding to just anyone… we learned the hard way. The whole team was fantastic, Brittaney, Alfonso, Caro, Pauline, and the whole crew. They were on time (often waiting outside early), we would get constant communication of what was done. They communicated any issues that might arise and were really reasonable and just good people.“
