I walked into Metro in crutches and could barely get out of bed on my own. I just had knee surgery for the first time. Their bedside manner was top-notch. Not only did they have some of the most knowledgeable people working for them but everyone truly cared about my physical recovery as well as my mental as well.

Not a great place to work. Owner is unprofessional. He tried not to pay me and after I requested it after a month, he underpaid me. Luckily, I had taken a picture of my timesheet as proof of hours worked. However, you should not have to request to be paid for services provided.

I can't rave enough about Body In Balance physical therapy. I started going there couple of years ago for a neck issue. Mary at the front desk is absolutely awesome. She helped me get all of the insurance rigamarole seamlessly. She made it a Breeze for me to make appointments as does Sal at the front desk!! I saw David my first time for an evaluation. He is kind patient and makes you feel very at ease he addressed all my questions and has a great bedside manner!! I was then treated by Able whom I can't speak enough about he is knowledgeable, works very closely to make sure you are doing the exercises properly and insures you are not over exerting yourself a very important aspect in recovery. I have been to many other pts and Body in balance exceeds all expectations. It is a natural gift to be able to give him massage to someone and David and Abel both have miracle hands. Edison the assistant is also very attentive and friendly. If you need to recover from something they are a must try!!!! the gym is also awesome too you never have to wait for machines the place is clean, music is great and everybody is totally cool.

I have been seeing Abel at Body in Balance for physical therapy. I've had PT before in a few places. Body in Balance is THE BEST physical therapy I have ever received. After my hip replacement, I went to a small PT in Commack. I had to wait 15 min between each exercise and the room was tiny. I felt so cramped. Body in Balance is expansive and spread out. I spend over an hour in PT versus 20 min at other place. Abel really works me and does many exercises which I appreciate. I highly recommend him. His assistant Phil is funny and very helpful too. If you are in need of physical therapy, I highly recommend Body in Balance. Very professional.

I’ve done PT at other places and found it to not be so helpful. Felt like an assembly line and honestly it was a bit of a racket. Body in Balance is fantastic!!!! I had two cervical surgeries in one year and thought I’d never feel like myself again. The therapist have helped me to gain strength, mobility and decrease pain. David is amazing!!!! The work he’s done on me is truly healing me.

I've had great results with Body in Balance (Hauppauge) I've had physical therapy here in 2012 for achillies reconstruction, and now in 2018 for a knee injury and subsequent arthroscopy... The care and service you get from the therapists, assistants, and front desk staff are just great. I have been to other PT places and i just won't go anywhere else at this point...they know you by name, and you never feel like you are rushed or left alone not knowing what to do.. I credit the work I had done with them from saving me from a second major surgery when i developed complications from my 2012 achillies reconstruction... they identified an issue and had me discuss it with my surgeon. . With a minor in office procedure and revised intensive therapy, I avoided having a second major surgery and was able to return to work sooner thanks to the therapist identifying the issue before it got past the point of no return.
