“Been coming here for over a year, always for just a cut and overall color. This time tried partial highlights in the attempt to camouflage stubborn grays that tend to appear everey 3-4 weeks. The highlights came out beautifully! I was pleasantly surprised as every other salon I've tried, they've always come out brassy/orange. Without a doubt, I'll continue to come back!!!“

“I wanted to have a stylist close to where I live, so I tried One Oak. I LOVED Antonio! He did a great job with my color and also with my cut. We had great conversations too! And he was fun. I look forward to my next cut and color just to see him! The salon is very large. The sinks are comfortable, all the staff are very friendly. There was an appointment within a couple of days. My daughter also got her hair cut (first one in 8 years) and loved it. Her stylist was Lola. Highly recommend. The only thing that made it less than perfect is a very limited selection of tea, so bring your own teabag if you want a nice herbal tea...or maybe they will stock some now...“

Aisha is so friendly and puts you at ease immediately. This was my first appointment, and I most definitely will be returning. It takes extra talent and skill to be good with very fine hair. “I had initially visited this salon because I won a color and highlight service. Right away, I loved how stylish and open it felt. There were drinks and some cookies to enjoy. Abby was my stylist and carefully listened to what I wanted and I showed her pictures of my own hair when I've liked how it's been done before. I really struggle with finding a place where I like the cut and any color I've gotten so I was nervous. Abby really delivered on giving me a super natural looking color with some dimension from the highlights in a warm blonde/copper. The placement of the highlights was perfect and it didn't look striped or unnatural. Just blended and very pretty whether I wore my hair curly or straightened it. I paid for my second visit a few months later. I got a cut/trim and had it re-toned with a bit more copper/light brown. My hair looked and felt great! The color from last time had grown/faded so nicely. The cut didn't take too much length but got rid of the split ends so my hair actually grew in a noticeable way. My mom is going to switch to this salon instead of her regular place because of how nice my hair has looked, the results of other customer's that she saw in the salon, and the atmosphere. I can't believe this place doesn't have a lot of reviews but they have only been open a year. If you are looking for a modern but relaxed salon with a variety of different stylists to choose from, I'd highly recommend you try it here. I'm so so picky about my hair to the point where I'd rather go a year without getting it cut or colored vs getting it done somewhere I'm not too sure about. (Yes this has happened). I've had some really unpleasant salon experiences in this area. Salon 1533 is unlike any other salon I've been to. They use a variety of quality brands of hair products, have knowledgeable stylists that actually listen, and this allows you to actually relax.“

“The first thing I noticed when I walked into Lori's Salon was how clean & organized it was. There were several hair stylists there with clients. It smelled wonderful & I felt very relaxed. I was there for Lazer treatment on some stubborn hairs on my chin. First, Lori circled the hairs that she was targeting. Then Lori had me lay on her treatment table. She was very gentle & I barely felt a thing. It took less then 15 minutes.
I would highly recommend Lori for any Lazer treatment that she offers.“
