Mike has been an absolute pleasure to work with! Since moving to Greenwich, we’ve trusted him with multiple renovation projects, from restoring the rotting siding on our 200-year-old home to transforming our severely dated guest bathroom—all while saving our original wood floors. He’s also helped us replace old fixtures, redo outdated wiring, and find creative solutions for the quirks that come with an old home. I heartily recommend Abcar, Inc and its president, Mike Walsh. Mike worked for me on a time and materials basis over a period of months, upgrading an old house and barn. Mike has the skills and experience to perform all of the required tasks, including designing and constructing new stairs; sistering 30 joists of up to 18 feet in length; installing new wiring, wall and floor outlets, 11 light fixtures and 2 ceiling fans; installing multiple layers of rigid foam insulation between rafters and joists and fiberglass insulation between all studs; covering all insulated surfaces in an attractive way using lumber; installing 2 new doors; repairing a slate roof and installing... read full review
Mike is very professional with all the work he has done on my property. He has tiled and remodeled the whole bathroom. Looks like it is right out of a magazine.The deck he built is like having an extension to the house. Wood and black spindles made it so modern looking. His company also put a new roof on.
