How can one not like a luxury gym like equinox. It is an established brand and there is an expectation of refinement in atmosphere and presentation. I only was a member for one year many years ago. I did enjoy my time being a member the only detractor of the experience and the great neck location was the fact that the pool was leaking through to the ceiling of the gym. I hope that this issue has been resolved. The quality of the experience was good overall I didn't use many of the services as it just wasn't something that I needed at the time.

Been coming 5 days/week for last 6 months. The whole place is kept very neat and is constantly being cleaned and restocked by friendly and hard working cleaning personnel. I find the locker room in particular very well looked after, clean and pleasant. Also very friendly and welcoming staff at the front desk. There are many good things to say about this location: it has all the machines you need and they are high quality; having access to an indoor pool near NYC is huge. Cant speak to the crowdedness because I usually come right around when they open and then the space is quite empty. The only thing I wish was different was that the upstairs therapy areas were repurposed... read full review

One of my favorite GYMS Pros: + Plenty of classes + Super clean + Helpful Staff + Luxury Bath products - Yes, I am crazy about the Kiehl's products they have in the showers + Eucalyptus towels?!?! Cons: - Pricey - can run 200-300 per month (Check if your company gets a corporate discount as well) IG: QueenOfAdventureNYC
