The staff at Broad Street HHHN were fantastic. From the registration to the LPN intake to the radiologist to the PA to the RN who fit a boot to my foot, all were caring and helpful.
When I got there I only waited a minute or two to check in. There were several people ahead of me. Then I sat in the waiting room and it was no more than 5 minutes before I got called back. The nurse took my vitals and made note of my problem. He told me that the doctor would be in shortly. Still no long wait. The doctor was thorough and then said he would like me to have an x-ray. The girl came in and we went to the room and that went quick as well. Back to the office and the doctor was quick to come in. Wait was short. Staff was very nice and friendly. The nurse practitioner we saw was very clearly inexperienced and not prepared for the job she was hired to do. Seemed like she still needed to be on orientation. Wanted me to go the AMC ER for a possible cardiac problem when he presented with wheezing during respiratory season. My healthy, 5 year old son who has no cardiac history. When you hear hooves… Anyway, went to well now, got a nebulizer and some steroids. Which was the appropriate treatment
