I have chronic pain and she always takes the time before each session to find out where to focus therapy to relieve pain. Right away, she told me to speak up if anything hurt or to let her know if something particular was helping. I felt immediately relaxed and then even more so when she was done. She offers hot stone massage, which is awesome, and, if you want her to, she will explain after the session which muscle groups and ligaments she is working on to address your pain.
