Jean Francois Michelle Hair Design is a charming and eclectic salon with a great atmosphere. The staff is super nice, friendly, and provides excellent customer service. Clients have complete trust in the stylists, who are skilled with all hair types, including thick curly hair and short haircuts. They offer great blowouts, highlights, and cuts. Appointments are easy to book and the salon is very accommodating, with unbeatable prices for the area. Many clients have been loyal for years and highly recommend it.
Visiting Mom in area, last minute appointment. Had probably the BEST ever haircut and blowout with Marlene !! She was so friendly and knows her craft so well !! Comfortable, clean shop. I will be back for sure when in the area. Wish I didn’t live so far away !! I walked out of the shop feeling better than I have in a very long time! Thank you Marlene !!
As a hairdresser myself, I am picky about who touches my hair, of course. After my former boss/friend / hairdresser for years moved out of NY she recommended going to Marlene at Jean Francois Michelle Hair Design. She had worked with her for a bit and had nothing but great things to say about Marlene and her staff. I took her advice and have been extremely happy for over a year now. I love my highlights and cut !!
Plus, the salon is absolutely charming and eclectic, and I highly recommend it.
From my daughter, who gets her haircuts here: “People are super nice and friendly and I love the easy they cut my hair.” Appointments are easy to book and they are very accommodating. Ask for Jacqueline if you meed a short haircut. And the prices are unbeatable for the area. I am only giving it 4 stars because parking can be a bit challenging on Nassau Blvd.
