Yes, they have dog training here, I was very happy to learn about it! I signed up my puppy for fundamental training as recommended by them. Bambina knows basics but she's not potty trained yet and I was very excited to have her potty trained. Few days before the class started, I got a call from the trainer and asked me what things I expect to learn, I told her potty training, leash walking and some tricks.. she said we will do all that. Fundamental training has a 5 sessions of 45 minutes each and graduation which you show up and the trainer will ask a dog to do a certain things.

went in to buy some fish. Staff was racist. She helped two people but when its our turn she left. Manager was just standing there and saw us waiting but he did not even offer help. worst petco location.

Stopped in to get a beta fish! Staff was very nice and helpful getting me what I needed! The one thing tho was when I was checking out the I was asked for my number for the rewards program and when I said I didn't have one with Petco, he proceeded to use his phone number to get the points, instead of asking if I wanted to sign up!

TERRIBLE!!!!! Brought my dog for grooming!!!! The haircut is horrible but the worst part is that they cut his skin!!!!!! I had to bring him to the vet to figure out how to help him!!! It was bothering him so much!!! They really should shut down the whole place!!!!!!!! Terrible to animals!!!! Ashley F was the groomer!!!! Should be fired!!!!!!!!

Took my dog to puppy school here, we completed the class and went to every session. My puppy tried his best but he wasnt very good at the commands. At the end of the class the teacher gave everyone else a certificate that they passed, and she told me my puppy needs another class, and he didn't get a passing certificate!! I was very upset, its puppy school for goodness sakes, just give us the win and say we passed!! Very unfair to my puppy, we were sad and defeated. He's a very smart boy!

I went here to get supplies for my kitten who was 4 weeks old. Mind you...( it's like a cvs nobody works there.. except 2 people) anyway... the manager sells me some litter that she says is " good for him" no. It's not. Train your staff better so they know what they are selling customers. Plus... the formula I was sold called KMR kitten replacement milk... Sucks so bad. Just an FYI

This location has unsatisfactory grooming service. I booked a grooming appointment online in advance. When I arrived with my senior dog, the groomer told me that he was going to refuse service on my dog. His reason was because my dog is 16 years old and he thought was too much of a strain to spend 2 hours grooming him. He recommended I take my dog to the vet. My vet told me there was no reason my dog could not be groomed. So now we stop grooming senior dogs? I have used PETCO to groom my dog since he was 4 years old. He is 16 years old now. Poor service.

The Petco on Jericho turnpike is my place to go for when Im in the need of food, supply, or pet advice. All the employees at this store are so knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions and great advice. I am a new cat rescue Mom with very little knowledge on how to raise a rescue kitten, I have found it very comforting to know that I can go to this petco store and ask for advice for my Jellybean (kitten). All the employees at this location are very kind and helpful. One day one employee made a cardboard litter box Shield to help with the litter being scooped out by Jellybeans paw. This was not necessary, but she went ahead and did it without any questions. that shows me that they love what they do and working at Petco is what they love to do. It takes a special kind of person to work at a pet store. I can see their hearts in their service and I appreciate all of their help and dedication. I will continue to go to this pet store as long as I have a pet. Thank you employees of Petco on Jericho turnpike, I am your fan! You all Rock!!!
