I've been going to Sandra Velandia Spa for a couple of years and it's such a gem. The front desk team is always so warm and welcoming, which makes every visit feel special. Paula has been doing my facials for years, and she's amazing especially since I have very sensitive skin. I always leave with brighter, hydrated skin and no redness. Her deep cleansing facials really make a difference. It's such a relaxing place, and I always look forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

Marcella is absolutely the best !!! This is my 4th time with her and I highlyyy recommend her. My face has been struggle with acne & it’s been very dry. She brought my face back to life. The customized the exact facial I needed for my skin type. You won’t regret it!

I have been seeing Marcella for about 2-3 years now and she is absolutely incredible! I am acne prone and have MCAS, a chronic inflammatory condition, that makes me have high inflammation and allergies to just about everything, including most products. Marcella was very gentle and intentional in her approach with me. She lead with curiosity, and she cared so much as to offer to reach out to my doctor to check if it would be okay to do a certain treatment. Because of my health situation I thought there wouldn't be a lot of options for me, but Marcella is very creative and knowledgable and taught me so much about what I can do with my skin. She started working with me doing gua sha, which was super gentle, was able to lower my facial swelling, and build up my skins tolerance. Last year she moved to laser treatments, which has drastically changed my skin. When I get breakouts, my skin will bounce back within a week, versus the breakouts triggering more breakouts. Working with Marcella has improved my quality of life. Because of my chronic illness I used to always feel inflamed in my face and like my skin was dull. I now feel like I am glowing (!!) and have a great support system in Marcella. Not only is she an amazing esthetician, but she is also compassionate, warm, and I look forward to seeing her every month. Here are some before and after photos from the laser treatments, though my skin has improved even more since September! In addition, the receptionists are so organized, kind, personable, and authentic and make the whole experience 100x more beautiful. I truly value the smiles and energy they bring to the hard work that they do to keep the salon functioning while also make it feel welcoming. A wonderful gem in Forest Hills! Great skincare services and other treatments. They take time in identifying your skincare concerns and offer so many treatments that are tailored to your needs. Good service and relaxing vibes. They use great quality products (BR, AB, SBS). The results and the experience match the pricing of the services. They also recommend skincare products as well.

This is the only place I will trust with my face or guidance for skincare products! Everything from the calming decor, to the product lines, to the services themselves is top notch. I always feel like a million bucks leaving and count the days down until my next service! Couldn't recommend enough!

After searching all over New York City for a place in Queens that offers butt vacuuming, I came across this facility through a Google search. I was impressed by the wide range of treatments, and the pricing for the butt vacuuming was within my budget. I booked over the phone with a lovely and kind receptionist who fit me in for a 4 PM appointment. I arrived a few minutes early and was taken in right away. After the technician’s explanation was translated for me, they stepped out so I could undress.
I was excited for the treatment, as I struggle with body dysmorphia and have been hoping this would help build my confidence. The session started off well, but unfortunately ended on a disappointing note. After placing the cups on me, the technician left the room and did not return for several minutes. During that time, the suction was very weak—my left side had almost no suction, and the machine disconnected about five minutes after she stepped out. Since I was undressed from the waist down, I didn’t feel comfortable getting up to call for help, and I assumed someone would check on me.
When the technician finally returned and I explained the issue, she adjusted the cups and gave me an additional 10 minutes with stronger suction, which should have been done from the start. In total, I only received about 10 minutes of proper suction, and I felt my concerns were not fully heard.
When I shared my experience at the front desk, I felt uncomfortable as staff spoke among themselves in their native language. The receptionist mentioned I could have yelled for help, which didn’t feel realistic given the situation. I do appreciate them taking $6 off my total for the inconvenience, but I hope this serves as constructive feedback to ensure better attention and care during butt vacuuming treatments moving forward.
