Good service

I went to this place a few months ago for severe neck pain, and my first experience was good. The massage therapist I had at that time was very strong and effective.

Unfortunately, my second visit was very different. During the acupuncture session, I was left face down with the needles in for around 40 minutes. The red light therapy turned off, and nobody came to check on me. I called out several times from the room, but nobody responded. Thankfully, I had my phone nearby, so I called the clinic directly, and only then did someone finally come. The PT later apologized and explained there had been a miscommunication.

After that, I received PT treatment and a massage. The massage was okay if you prefer a gentle and relaxing style, but I personally needed a stronger massage for my neck pain. I asked for more pressure several times, including trying in Chinese, but it wasn't strong enough like the previous therapist.

The most difficult part was having to stay face down for such a long time. Since I already came in with neck pain, being in that position for around 40 minutes and another 30 mins for massage became very uncomfortable and actually made my neck stiffness worse afterward. (I could have refused the massage but I was hoping a great massage like the first time but it was a mistake.)

To be fair, the staff did apologize, but I still left feeling physically uncomfortable and without any improvement in my pain. I just wanted to share my honest experience so future patients know what to expect.

I was supposed to be charged $10 and my receipt also shows $10. My FSA card is showing I was charged $15 so now I can’t even submit for reimbursement because the amount is incorrect. This office should be ashamed of themselves!

Update: I received my Explanation of Benefits from my insurance company and was horrified by the charges. For 2 sessions they charged over $2500!!! $850 for a 10 minute PT session where they showed me one exercise? No wonder insurance costs are so high! I will not be a part of such scams even if the services were fine.

Today was my first visit here and it was a great experience. I didn’t have to wait at all. I saw an acupuncturist, a massage therapist and a physical therapist. I thought they were all attentive and professional. aThey asked me about my concerns and addressed them. The Massage Therapist Grace was phenomenal. She found a knot in my neck that has been there for months and already we’ve come up with a plan to tackle it. I also appreciate that they work with my insurance company, and my co-pay is extremely reasonable.
