I’ve been dropping off my suits and coats at Alpha-Omega Cleaners on 102nd Street for a while now, and they are easily the most reliable spot in Forest Hills. It’s one of those classic, no-nonsense neighborhood businesses where they actually recognize you when you walk through the door.
The turnaround time is always impressive, and they’ve managed to get out stains I thought were permanent. Their tailoring is also top-notch, I’ve had a few pairs of slacks hemmed there, and the work is seamless. It’s reasonably priced, professional, and exactly what you want in a local dry cleaner.

For context, my husband and I have been in the neighborhood for 10 years. We moved farther from this dry cleaners pre-Covid and in fact, have two closer to us. However, we choose to continue coming back to Alpha Omegas.
Helen and her husband are just genuine good people, who always try their best to help you- whether it’s a tight deadline on dry cleaning or alterations. We always receive everything as expected and on time. We’ve entrusted in them to preserve my wedding dress. Quality of service here is wonderful.
