Erika is truly exceptional. After a disappointing visit to another salon, I decided to try Guy Thomas, and I couldn't be more pleased with my choice. Erika's expertise is impressive; she always understands my requests perfectly. Whether I'm going from blonde to brunette or vice versa, she consistently delivers outstanding results. I trust her judgment completely, and she never fails to make me look great. Plus, she's super fun to talk to!
It was a last Minute need to cut my hair and I wasn't able to get any appointments (it was the night before when I was looking for salons and everything was closed and I needed the hair cut the next day) I saw that this place take walk-in. I came in the morning and it was busy so I was asked to come back later in the afternoon. Their shampoo smelled like orange cream. They spent over an hour cutting my hair and she did it all with just a comb and scissor. She can keep up a conversation and keep you entertained the whole time. I asked for thinning and long layers. She understood the concept but it was poorly executed. My hair was very choppy and you can see the layers with straight ends in rows.
The first time I walked into guy thomas hair salon was in 2014 with extremely damaged hair and no idea what a real haircut looked like. It's now 2024, and I live in FL , but best believe every time I'm in NY, I get blessed by the hands of Erika or Leslie. They are always able to fit me in or work with my flight delays. I have never walked out of Guy Thomas unhappy. I love you guys !
