Beautiful flowers, the rudest staff two men absolutely rude told my older mother “you can’t read prices” after asking where the price was on some flowers. I sell a lot of properties on Long Island I would NEVER tell anyone to come here for that experience.

They have beautiful lively plants. They're informative. They also refill propane tank for barbecue grills, and they check the condition of the tank before servicing.

The men who own and operate Ralphs Nursery, will give you the individual attention that you just can't get at chain stores. They are personal, helpful and knowledgeable. Ralphs Nursery will quickly become your go to nursery. Also, they fill propane on site, and will actually fill it completely, unlike the gas station swaps. Support your local family owned business.

This nursery is great. They have been in farmingdale for years and always offer the best advice. I have never had defective plants and can get all my gardening needs as well as propane tanks filled. Their staff has always helped me load items and always offers handcarts for heavy items. They do not load or take out propane tanks from cars which can lead unwanted problems. I don't believe that Lowes or home depot carry them to your car! Your tank must meet all safety rules and expired tanks can't be refilled by law. They always give you the right answer even though you may not agree. Glad they are still around.

You're not going to find the knowledge and service at a regular chain like home depot. These two men, the owners of Ralph's nursery, operate their family owned business with respect to their customers who become like family. The price is better than Home Depot or a big chain and the quality is better.

What a horrible place with horrible people. I tried to drop off four tanks of propane, empty, of course. Recently, I have been experiencing terrible back pain and asked them if I could get a hand taking them out of my truck. They offered me a handtruck instead of helping me. Two of them watched me struggle With one tank. I brought it upfront and they told me to bring it to the back. I told him I couldn’t get it there and they told me I had to bring it to the back. I left. No help from anyone there. They just watched me struggle in pain. I will never go back. If this place had zero stars. I would give them zero
