I am thankful to have met Marcia the salon was beautiful and clean and I was greeted with a warm spirit, I knew this is where I should be. My hair was damaged due to it locking after I took my braids out so I needed it cut, she did such a phenomenal job cutting and styling my hair I looked forward to coming back. I’ve gotten lots of wonderful compliments on how beautiful it was and I am so grateful for it. Thank God for her Gift of hair care may God bless her and the salon always :)

On 8/15, I went into Marcia's shop after seeing her shop online. The shop was empty but clean. I asked her if she could do the pixie style that I was wearing. She said, "Yes, of course." She took a picture of my hair, and I then made an appointment for 8/20/2024. I was super excited to have found a stylist near my home. I arrived at my appointment at 8 am, as scheduled, and the shop was closed. She arrived about a half hour later. She washed my hair, placed me under the dryer, and then began the curling process once dried. As soon as she started curiling my hair (out of mirror view), I felt something was wrong. The end result of my hair was a disaster. She assured me she could do pixie stiff curl styles, and not one curl was stiff nor did it look anything like I showed her. Don't get me wrong, she was very polite but was incapable of performing the duty that I hired her to perform. Why lie? If you can't do something, say, I can try to do it, but don't abuse people with lies and false advertisements. I paid for the service but I wouldn't recommend her as a stylist. My sister got a simple ponytail with a bang, and that too was disastrous. She used no gel or spritz in her hair, and it was an epic fail. Within a few hours, my sisters hair looked a mess. She didn't put enough tracks for her bang, and it looked horrible. I rarely write reviews, but this experience left me extremely upset and disappointed. I have a function to attend and I now have to try to get my hair done, properly. That's another cost that I didn't allocate for. Now, I understand why that shop was empty. At the end of the day, honesty is the best policy. If you can't do something just be upfront and say "I can try." Don't say "Yes, of course I can do it." You will never PROSPER with a LIE!

Marcia, a stylist, could not execute a simple ponytail and bangs. By the end of the day, my hair began to unravel. She used minimal to no products that would sustain my hair, such as gel or spritz, to mold and shape it. My bangs were thin and revealed my scalp. If you have natural hair, I would not recommend her services. A ponytail that cost $135 only lasted four hours. It was disappointing. Look at yelp for pictures.

I only gave it a chance because it was so close to home that being said, she does not do locs properly. I couldn't even get the style I wanted and had to compromise; And even that still didn't come out good. Rubber bands where popping by the time I got home which wasn't very far from the shop. Plus to top it off the price was ridiculous. I can go somewhere else to get the style I want and look like I actually went to the salon and for less. No Thank you!

False Advertisement ! I called they hung up on me. Do not trust their lies ! They don’t braid as advertised. Be ware customer service at a 0. If I could give 0 star I would.

My first visit to a hair salon post covid. I had some hair breakage. I got the Wave Nouvea and a short cut. I made an appointment and was seen timely. Marcia is very welcoming and she did a great job. I will definitely be back.Services: Hairstyling
