I'd like to start by saying that while I was at the salon, I was under the impression that I was in the chair of a specialist. I came in with silver highlights. Harleigh made me feel comfortable and confident that I was going to get the silver balayage I was there for. I was there all of 1 hour and 45 minutes which was my first red flag. I have been lifting light for vivids for 10 years and I have never been processed in less than 3-5 hours. At the end I was fairly happy with what she had done, but my 2nd red flag was the poor lighting and I was not given a mirror to see my full head. We had discussed that I did not want a black base and that she would use a silvery purple on the ends. Harleigh told me the purple would last 3 weeks and fade to gray and that made me happy. I shampooed once and the purple washed out to reveal brassy reds and pinks which I had mentioned would give me anxiety. I texted Harleigh and her response was to book another appointment and she would add color. This gave me more anxiety and I told her I didn't trust her to treat my hair again. She had very unkind and unprofessional responses after that. She charged me top dollar to do exactly what I asked her NOT to do. I would hate for this to happen to anyone else.

I found Harleigh and the Beauty Barn by chance while searching for a salon to give me highlights before school started and I am so grateful that I found her! She was able to match a highlight color to a picture with ease, and she took her time to understand what I was looking for. I’m always nervous to have anyone color my hair because I have had so many negative experiences, but not anymore! I will not be going anywhere else for my hair needs after this experience. I highly recommend her!

Finally!! A stylist that truly knows what she is doing! She is an expert in her field and clearly loves what she does. I will not consider anyone else to highlight my hair in the future. Highly recommend allowing Harleigh to take care of you!

I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair 💕 Harleigh takes her time and always makes sure you leave happy. Seriously the best hair stylist I have ever gone to. I will never trust anyone else with my hair again 💇♀️ don't walk, run to book your next appointment with her.
