I was in court for a violation and was going to leave myself at the mercy of the court. I had just watched Mr, Engel work a deal for someone else and I was close enough to overhear some of the conservation. Yes there were other lawyers there. After he had finished and was leaving the court room, I followed. Being a little reluctant to speak to someone who he had no clue who I was, he gave me the time of day. After explaining my situation, he agreed to speak to the DA and resolved it within 30 min. Since then and doing some research, I offered a retainer.
