“My vet had suggested that my dog may need his eye removed. They referred us to this place because they felt we could be seen here sooner than Cornell. The staff was great with setting up an appointment and explaining the cost of the exam. We checked in once we arrived and they were ready for him right away. The vet tech that was assisting the doctor was very sweet and put Miken at ease. He is a Shepherd so he can be sketchy. I came prepared with his ball and treats. The doctor explained everything she was doing and it would be scary to any pet but she was very considerate and read his body language like a pro. The vet tech held his face while his dad kept him on the exam table. Once the exam was over the doctor thoroughly explained what she found and what the options were. It was nice that she didn't talk down to us at all and explained that whether she or the practice owner did the surgery they were both great options. He will be having surgery there to fix it once we save up.”
