A request for quotation to replace GAF Slateline asphalt shingles with Ecostar Synthetic Slate was submitted to multiple contractors through a roofing consultant. We ultimately chose Besroi construction. They handled teardown and installation with professionalism, worked long hours through very hot summer days, without interruption (weather permitting) to completion, exceeding our expectations. As with any old home, there were issues that arose, which were quickly resolved. Besroi pays attention to detail. They are collaborative, fair, and have been forthright throughout our relationship. “Our project included complete residing of our house, all new gutters, 5 windows replaced, the roof over the sunporch replaced and a storm door replaced.
Throughout the process, from contacting Stockmohr in August 2024, to the completion of the project in July 2025, everyone at Stockmohr was friendly, professional, accommodating and helpful. Emmett Sweet, our main contact at Stockmohr, was especially helpful throughout. He carefully explained all our options, showed us samples of the various alternatives and detailed the differences in costs. In addition he stayed in contact through to the end of the project.
During construction, the various crews that worked on the house were friendly, professional and respectful of us and our property. The window installers, in particular, did an excellent job installing them and melding them with the windows' existing interior trim. At the end of the project, Emmett walked through the finished product with us and listed any concerns we had. A crew was sent out and addressed those concerns.
Just one small negative, not about Stockmohr, but about the 3/4 view, Provia Spectrum Storm door that replaced one from our kitchen to a small deck. The original crew had problems installing it. A separate crew came out and worked on it, fixing some corner joins that didn't align properly and making sure that the door closed as it should. Although, it is a marked improvement over the door it replaced, one of its features does not work all the time. The smaller lower window is designed to lift and bring up an attached screen. We thought it would be a nice feature to have a smaller air flow at a low level. Once opened, the window has a tendency to slip back down almost closing. If we knew that beforehand, we would not have gone with that feature.
Having said that, I and my wife highly recommend Stockmohr for any project you may have.“

Even sent a crew back for another sweep for a couple hours the following day. With small children at home that level of care goes a long way.“
