“Went into office for facial age spots from the sun. Did not know what to expect. Was a little apprehensive for anything cosmetic would not be covered by medical insurance. So cost was a factor that I was concerned about as well. Dr Applebaum was patient and explained everything that would follow the laser procedure. The first few days after treatment you won't want to leave your home, but eventually as explained, all the spots faded. Dr Applebaum was able to eliminate all age spots with just one treatment. “Dr Koreen is an Exceptional Dermatologist!
I have been seeing him for 10 years now and have had minor skin cancers removed as well as a few Mohs Method surgeries in office.
This past week I saw him with a huge incect bite .He was able to acertain exactly the cause and specific antibiotic to treat .
I am now on the mend .
I also want to give props to Cynthia, his Nurse practitioner who fit me in his very busy schedule and was very patient with me as I was a bit freaked out by the appearance of this bite .

“I went for a screening and to have a few things checked out at the North Babylon office. The dermatologist was very pleasant and friendly. She answered my questions and was very thorough. She removed a growth on my eye and discovered and froze off a few pre-cancerous and non-cancerous growths, some visible and some barely visible that I was unaware of. It was a good experience and I would recommend this office.“

“I had a large growth on my face that my dermatologist determined was Squamous cell carcinoma cancer. She said the procedure for this is a Mohs operation, which entails cutting out the cancer until there’s none left and then stitching up the skin leaving a permanent scar. When I asked how big the scar would be she said between one and four inches, depending on the depth of the cancer. This scared me and I looked for another cure. Luckily I found Dr Barazani who gave me hope and assured me that the cancer could be removed through radiation treatment. After 12 easy painless treatments the carcinoma was completely gone and I was cancer free…and no scar on my face. Dr Barazani is a wonderful doctor and I heartily recommend him.“
