I have never had a bad phone call or experience at DansvilleDental. The receptionists are always friendly and return calls promptly. They always seem to fit the kids and I in, never had an issue with availability. The office is always clean. The dentists and hygienists are alway gentle and explain things very well. My kids actually love going to the dentist. My only complaint is they don't take my dental insurance, but this place is so amazing, I go anyway. I've had too many bad experiences elsewhere. Dr. Kathleen (not sure about spelling) is amazing, especially with kids.

I had the best experience at Dansville Dental that one could hope for. I had pain from a molar that I was trying to carry forward through several life events coming all together within a week. Two birthdays, an anniversary, a funeral and a retirement party. I managed to get through all but the last. I made an appointment with a dentist in Ithaca but, it was going to be a week wait. Within 24h of making that appointment I was experiencing severe, throbbing pain that Tylenol could no longer control. It was a Saturday. I called Dansville because there reviews were high, a family member had been there, they were open(a rarity) and within an hour. They immediately got me on their schedule for 12:50 that day. The office is very easy to find, well appointed and the staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. From start to finish I couldn’t be happier with the care I received. If you are looking for exceptional dental care in the Fingerlakes Region, make this your first choice

Dansville Dental has the nicest and professional staff that I have ever been involved with. I have always had a fear of dentists since I was young and Dr. Kathleen always understands my apprehension and has a way of comforting and compassion that exceeds any I have seen. She listens and doesn’t pressure her patients. The office staff and Dental Assistants have all been wonderful as well. I can’t give them enough stars and have and will continue to recommend them 💜

Avoid this dental practice at all costs. Two weeks ago I had a root canal and cavity filled. I had to come back in because the tooth that had the cavity (no pain prior) began to have so much pain, I went to my appointment (never spoke or saw a dentist), but was given new procedure options $$$ and they wanted me to pay for today’s appointment when it was a failure on their end! I would have never paid to have a cavity fixed just to come back two weeks later and have someone say you need another root canal and crown. This place is like a greasy used car dealership!

I had called to make a new patient appointment and stated I needed a cleaning. I went in for my appointment this morning and they did XRays and an exam, but when I asked if I would be getting a cleaning, they said I wasn’t on the schedule for that. I was confused and irritated because that’s one of the main reasons I made the appointment. They tried to fit me in but were unable, so I had to make a new appointment for next week. Luckily, their schedule is fairly open and I was able to get both appointments quickly. The staff was friendly and professional. The building was large and clean. Overall not the worst experience; I just wish I didn’t have to go back for another appointment.
