I live in Brooklyn and have been to many salons, paying close over $120 for mediocre haircuts. The stylists at Spruce have a great eye, they are patient, and great at adapting the hairstyle I’m looking for to my face shape and hair type.
A added bonus are the products I get to try with Paula when my hair is being washed and styled.

“I gotten my nails done by a different shop but the wait was an hr and i didnt have that kind of time so I came here off a wim and it was worth it. Not only did I get a complete color change and shape.It was only forty dollars and took thirty minutes. I Was a walk in and they were warm and welcoming. Told me to take my time picking a color and took me right away. And honestly , this color has lasted longer than my previous shop , so I'll be definitely returning!! Also Saw a review saying that they are rude to african americans I'm african american And had a wonderful experience so sorry for the person who did not.“

“I had an appt scheduled (day of) for myself and my toddler. As soon as I arrived, the toddler pedicure chair and an adult chair directly next to it was available for us and BOTH services were completed simultaneously by two technicians (not always the case in my experience and when there's only one, it's hard for the toddler to be patient and sit/wait for so long). Really appreciated their efficientness without feeling rushed. My daughter had a wonderful first experience getting a pedicure! Thank you!“
