Great studio, positive energy, with tons of options for all styles of dance. Pricing is reasonable with lots of options for class packs or memberships to fit a majority of budgets. The instructors themselves have experience and backgrounds in performing, working, and can teach all kinds of levels and body types. Tessa really tries to keep a diverse and inclusive portfolio of talent and it shows. If I lived closer I’d probably be here every day.
As a dad, it’s been really meaningful to see how much my daughter has grown since joining Bee’s Knees Burlesque Academy. She always has such great things to say about her experience there. I even joined her for a Strength & Stretch class with Jess, and I was honestly impressed—not just with the class itself, but with the positive, supportive atmosphere. Tessa runs a tight ship while keeping it fun and welcoming. Couldn’t recommend it more for anyone looking for a creative and empowering space.
I have been an active student and collaborator with Tessa and Jo of Bees Knees Burlesque Academy for two years, and known them much longer. Taking Burlesque classes with them changed my life for the FAR better! The teaching happens at each student's pace, and there is always vast support from both instructors and fellow students. Special events and shows are a truly remarkable and magical experience, both to be part of and to witness. I love BKBA, forever!
